Business Development Executive – Engineering Consultancy

Company Overview

We are a growing engineering consultancy offering design, authority approvals, and project support services for commercial, residential, and interior fit-out projects. The firm is led by a qualified Architect, and we are expanding our market presence across Qatar.

Job Summary

We are seeking an Engineering-background Business Development Executive who can actively develop the consultancy, generate projects, and build long-term relationships in the Qatar market. This role is ideal for a Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineer, or Architect with strong market exposure and client-handling skills.

Key Responsibilities : Business Development & Market Growth

• Identify and generate engineering consultancy projects (design, approvals, supervision)
• Develop relationships with contractors, developers, interior companies, and property owners
• Attend client meetings, site visits, and proposal discussions
• Convert leads into confirmed consultancy assignments

Technical & Proposal Support

• Understand project requirements and coordinate internally for technical inputs
• Assist in preparing proposals, scope of work, and consultancy fee offers
• Coordinate with design team and external engineers as required
• Support authority approval processes (MME, Baladiya, QCDD, Kahramaa, etc.)

Client & Management Coordination

• Act as a primary point of contact for assigned clients
• Provide regular updates on leads, proposals, and confirmed projects
• Support long-term client retention and repeat business

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Architecture
• Minimum 3–6 years experience in engineering consultancy or contracting (Qatar experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of the Qatar construction & approval market
• Proven ability to generate or support business development activities
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Valid Qatar driving license (mandatory)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month
