Business Development Executive-Logistics

Job Role:

Sky Ocean Shipping is seeking a driven Business Development Executive to expand our customer base in freight forwarding and shipping services. The role focuses on acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth in domestic and international logistics markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business for ocean freight, air freight, and logistics services
• Identify potential leads through calls, emails, and online platforms
• Handle inbound sales inquiries and follow up with prospects
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and overseas agents
• Prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and close sales deals
• Coordinate with operations and pricing teams to ensure smooth service delivery
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field
• 1-3 years of proven experience in business development or sales within shipping/logistics (freshers with relevant knowledge or internship experience are also welcome)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of freight forwarding, Incoterms, and shipping documentation.
