About the Role

Golpik is hiring a driven Business Development Executive (Upwork Bidder) to expand our global client portfolio. This role involves securing projects from international freelancing platforms, preparing persuasive proposals, and maintaining long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, bid, and secure projects on Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
  • Draft customized, high-quality proposals tailored to client requirements.
  • Communicate with international clients, gather requirements, and negotiate terms.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to align project scope with client needs.
  • Generate new leads, follow up with prospects, and convert them into long-term clients.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of proven experience as an Upwork Bidder / Online Bidder / Business Development Executive.
  • Knowledge of IT services such as Web Development, Mobile Apps, Salesforce and Software Solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and proposal-writing skills.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Hands-on experience with platforms like Upwork
