Business Development Intern

About the Role

  • EditVista LTD is hiring a Business Development Intern to support our lead generation and sales research process.
  • The role will focus on identifying relevant companies, building accurate lead lists, scoring prospects based on our ideal client profile, and maintaining organised data for outreach campaigns.
  • This position is suitable for someone with strong research skills, attention to detail, and an interest in business development, sales operations, and market research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research potential companies and decision makers across selected industries and markets.
  • Build clean and accurate lead lists using LinkedIn, Google, company websites, directories, and other online sources.
  • Score leads based on defined ICP criteria such as industry, location, company size, service fit, activity level, and growth potential.
  • Collect and organise key details including company name, website, LinkedIn profile, decision maker name, role, email, and other relevant information.
  • Identify founders, CEOs, directors, marketing heads, agency owners, clinic owners, and other relevant decision makers.
  • Clean, update, and maintain lead data in spreadsheets or CRM.
  • Remove duplicate, irrelevant, inactive, or low quality records.
  • Segment leads based on niche, location, priority level, and campaign requirements.
  • Track lead sources and maintain proper records of research activity.
  • Coordinate with the sales and outreach team to support active campaigns.

Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: O Levels or Intermediate.
  • Good English reading and writing skills.
  • Strong internet research skills.
  • Basic knowledge of LinkedIn, Google Search, spreadsheets, and online research tools.
  • Good attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work with a clear structure.
  • Organised, punctual, and consistent with assigned tasks.
  • Must be available for in person work at our office in Federal B Area, Block 5, Karachi.
  • Must be available from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic understanding of lead generation, B2B research, or sales support.
  • Experience with Google Sheets, Excel, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Clay, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Ability to assess lead quality instead of collecting random data.

Compensation

  • This is a paid internship for 3 months.
  • Permanent job opportunity may be offered based on performance.
  • Market competitive salary will be offered for selected permanent candidates.
