Business Development Manager

As an international company we are looking for a Business Development Manager in Ankara / Türkiye .


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
  • 6 + years' prior business development experience, of which at least 3+ years in solar energy sector,
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Proven knowledge of executing successful business development strategies,
  • Ability to plan, coordinate/ monitor all sales and marketing operations in Türkiye,
  • Having vast knowledge about market regulations, customary trends and developments including innovative practices,
  • Being in direct contact with customers, third parties as well as other departments making sure that profitability is the main priority,
  • Focused and goal-oriented with excellent communication and negotiation skills,
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English (preferred),
  • No travel restriction.



Job Description:


  • Identify partnership opportunities in Türkiye
  • Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand in the market,
  • Think critically when planning to assure project success,
  • Market identification, investigation & knowledge,
  • Propose and develop market strategy
  • Identify, contact and establish relationship with targeted customers with the view of generating leads and request for quotations
  • Leads Go/No Go discussions in relation to new leads and RFQs
  • Coordinates the communication with the clients and internally during bid preparation
  • Prepares proposals and defines the appropriate price levels necessary to secure projects, in respect with the company’s target profit margin and in line with approval procedure
  • Leads the commercial discussions and negotiations until contract award
  • Coordinates with operational teams for handover upon award
  • Leads commercial aspects of ongoing projects in coordination with the project manager
  • Participate in the internal tender approval process for the bids where it is required
  • Collect information relating to the bids and organize it in a way to support continuous improvement of the bidding process
  • Actively propose actions and take part in continuous improvement process
  • Fulfilling other duties assigned within the scope of responsibilities and work objectives
