Business Development Manager

Job Purpose

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving company growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and ensuring revenue targets are achieved. The role involves market research, strategic planning, networking, and managing the full business development cycle from lead generation to closing deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and revenue growth targets.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and proposals with clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis to management.
  • Ensure the company brand and values are consistently represented in all business dealings.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, negotiation techniques, and business growth strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build long-term professional relationships.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
