In the capacity of Data Management Business Development Manager, you will work closely with the Data Management Head to set and achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Business Development activities in Data Strategy, Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Quality, Master Data Management, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Data Classification products, solutions, and services.
- Identify and target prospective clients for data management offerings. Collaborate with the Marketing team to generate inbound leads.
- Conduct product or service presentations tailored to client needs.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting, needs assessment, proposal development, to deal closure.
- Oversee a portfolio of existing accounts, strengthen client relationships, and identify upselling opportunities.
- Collaborate with pre-sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet client needs.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Build strong client relationships and become a trusted advisor on data management topics.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory drivers (e.g., BCBS 239, NDMO, GDPR, PDPL, Dubai Data Law).
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of proven success in B2B sales, technology sales, focusing on data management and analytics services.
- Prior relevant experience in the KSA market is mandatory.
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong understanding of data lifecycle concepts including governance, lineage, privacy, and architecture.
- Familiarity with data regulations and frameworks related to KSA NDMO, Dubai Digital Authority, EU GDPR.
- Persuasive presentation skills, with experience delivering tailored pitches to executives or decision-makers.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
