Business Development Manager

Saudi Arabia

Food People is partnered with an FMCG manufacturing company looking for a BDM to be based in Saudi. You will be responsible for managing the distributor for both MT and TT channels across the Central and Western regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage distributor relationships in Saudi Arabia and lead expansion into GT/TT channels
  • Work closely on performance data to interpret and act on sales and strategies to tap into the market
  • Handle relationships with stakeholders in national key accounts, including Lulu, Nesto, Carrefour, and others
  • Own the sales process from forecasting through to value achievement and fulfilment
  • Travel frequently across key Saudi regions: Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Makkah
  • Collaborate with commercial and sales leadership across the GCC region and drive the agenda to increase revenue, presence, market share and visibility in the market
  • Be able to manage independently but also be a team player

Key Ingredients:

  • Must have experience in the Saudi FMCG market with Modern Trade & General Trade exposure
  • Strong distributor management skills, ideally from a principal side
  • Experience with trade margins, spending, forecasting, and category analysis
  • Background in food and beverage (MUST)
  • Arabic language is highly preferable
  • Should be based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh or Jeddah
