Business Development Manager

  • Position Summary:
  • One of our clients are looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Development
  • Manager to lead and grow our business opportunities within the construction sector. This
  • role is responsible for identifying new business prospects, building and maintaining strong
  • relationships with clients, and driving strategic growth through partnerships, bids, and
  • project development initiatives.


  • Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities:
  • Research and identify potential clients, market sectors, and strategic partnerships to
  • generate new project leads and revenue streams.


  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, contractors, consultants,
  • government bodies, and other key stakeholders.


  • Sales and Proposal Development:
  • Lead the preparation of proposals, tenders, and presentations. Collaborate with internal
  • teams to develop tailored solutions and pricing strategies.


  • Market and Competitor Analysis:
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to shape
  • strategic plans.


  • Strategic Planning:
  • Contribute to the company’s growth strategy by developing business plans, sales targets, and
  • performance metrics aligned with corporate objectives.


  • Contract Negotiation:
  • Negotiate terms and close commercial agreements, ensuring profitability and compliance
  • with company policies.
  • Collaboration with Project Teams:
  • Work closely with operations, engineering, estimating, and legal departments to ensure
  • smooth handover of projects post-award.


  • Qualifications:
  • 10+ years in construction sales or business development.
  • Strong knowledge of construction industry .
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong network within government agencies and large contractors.
  • Familiarity with public procurement and tendering processes.
  • Knowledge of local planning and zoning regulations.
