Manager Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth at One Network by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and developing strategic partnerships across telecom, ICT, power, and infrastructure domains.

Key Responsibility:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with One Network’s portfolio (telecom, managed services, power solutions, ICT, and infrastructure).
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve annual revenue and growth targets.
  • Lead preparation of proposals, bids, RFPs/RFQs, and technical-commercial submissions in coordination with technical and operations teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, partners, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Conduct market intelligence, competitor analysis, and opportunity assessments to support strategic decision-making.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts in line with company policies.
  • Coordinate internal approvals and ensure smooth handover of awarded projects to operations and project teams.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and management reports.
  • Represent One Network in client meetings, industry forums, and business events.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, ethical standards, and governance requirements.

Required Skills & Technical Competency:

  • Strong business development, sales, and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of telecom, power, and ICT solutions and service models.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and operations teams.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • MBA or Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • 6–10 years of relevant experience in business development, preferably in telecom, ICT, power, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Proven track record of winning contracts and managing key accounts.
  • Achievement of revenue and growth targets.
  • Number and value of new business wins.
  • Client acquisition and retention rates.
  • Timely and successful submission of bids and proposals.
  • Contribution to strategic partnerships and long-term contracts.
