About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) who can build, optimize, and scale inbound and outbound sales engines from the ground up.

This is a hands-on leadership role, not just relationship management. You will be responsible for designing sales processes, driving predictable pipelines, improving conversions, and aligning sales execution with business growth goals.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Engine Strategy & Scaling

Design and scale inbound and outbound sales engines for software and digital services

Build structured lead generation, qualification, follow-up, and closure processes

Define ICPs, buyer personas, and channel-specific strategies

Inbound Sales

Optimize inbound channels (website leads, paid campaigns, referrals, marketplaces, partnerships)

Improve lead response time, qualification quality, and conversion ratios

Collaborate with marketing teams on funnel performance and demand generation

Outbound Sales

Build outbound strategies (email, LinkedIn, cold outreach, partnerships)

Define messaging, sequencing, and targeting strategies

Train and guide sales teams on outbound best practices

Team & Process Leadership

Work closely with Front Sales, Account Executives, Upsell teams, and PMs

Establish SOPs, KPIs, targets, and reporting frameworks

Coach sales resources to improve performance and accountability

Revenue & Growth Ownership

Own pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and revenue targets

Identify bottlenecks and continuously optimize the sales funnel

Support pricing strategies, proposal structuring, and deal negotiations

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Business Development Manager / Sales Manager in software or IT services

Demonstrated success in building and scaling inbound and outbound sales engines

Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, consultative selling, and solution selling

Experience working with international clients (US, UK, EU, Middle East, etc.)

Hands-on experience with CRMs, pipelines, sales dashboards, and reporting

Excellent spoken and written English

Strong leadership, decision-making, and execution skills

Performance Expectations

Build a predictable and scalable sales pipeline

Improve lead-to-meeting and meeting-to-deal conversion ratios

Reduce dependency on individual performers by creating systems

Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets

Deliver clear sales insights and forecasts to leadership
