Business Development Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and strategic Business Development Manager to identify new growth opportunities and expand our market presence in the logistics and freight forwarding sector.

This role focuses on market expansion, strategic partnerships, and long-term revenue development across local and regional markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Market Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities across target industries and trade corridors.

- Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential partners, agents, and corporate clients.

- Opportunity Assessment: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth potential.

- Proposal Development: Prepare tailored commercial proposals and negotiate contract terms.

- Revenue Growth: Develop structured plans to increase company revenue and market share.

- Pipeline Development: Maintain a strong and sustainable business development funnel.

- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with operations and finance to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.

Qualifications & Skills

- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Marketing, or related field.

- Experience: 4+ years in business development within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industries.

- Industry Exposure: Strong understanding of regional (GCC/MENA) logistics markets.

- Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify high-value opportunities and convert them into long-term partnerships.

- Negotiation Skills: Strong contract negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

- Self-Driven: Results-oriented with strong initiative and accountability.
