Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Development Manager with EXPERIENCE either in Home Care,Hospice,Skilled Nurse to drive growth and expand our market presence. The Business Development Manager/Marketing is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategies to grow the client base and referral partner network for Home Matters Caregiving in South Jersey. This role focuses on building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other senior-focused services while representing the company with professionalism and care.We are looking to hire someone with an establish connection in the Industry.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to meet growth goals. Establish and maintain referral partnerships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, hospices, senior centers, and physician groups.Conduct regular outreach visits, presentations, and networking events to promote Home Matters Caregiving. Collaborate with leadership to create marketing strategies, campaigns, and events that support business growth. Track leads, referral sources, and conversion metrics in the CRM system. Partner with the care coordination team to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.Represent Home Matters Caregiving at community events, health fairs, and professional organizations.Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market changes to identify new opportunities.
Qualifications / be able to:
● Proficiency in basic computer software programs.
● Experience in the home care field, and hit the ground running.
● Establish and maintain relationships with referral partners
● Be knowledgeable of Home Matters Caregiving Policies and Procedures.
● Be knowledgeable of Home Care rules and regulations for the State of New Jersey
● Be knowledgeable of services provided by our agency to manage prospects.
● Part of the monthly on-call rotation.
● Perform other duties as instructed by Owner
● Have excellent communication skills
Business Development
o Follow up on all APFM leads
o Follow up on all prospects leads as directed
o Work with the Owner on top 10-20-30 referral resources focusing on the South Jersey area.
o Implementation of virtual care agent (Sensi AI). Goal established with Junior.
Client Service Responsibilities for External Clients ( Owner will be involved )
● Intakes/ Assessments
o Perform initial intakes daily/weekly as needed. Work with Owner
o Input assessment and tasks into Wellsky.
o Perform client and caregiver Intros when needed
● New Client Management:
o Perform Initial supervisory visits
o Perform 7-14 day, 30 day and 90 day supervisory visits per Owner
Job Duties ( Goals )
● First 2 Months of employment to achieve 400 Hours Per week.
By Months 5 we should be at 800Hours Per Week, The goal is to cover Mercer,Burlington,Camden, Gloucester Counties.
● Perform assessments and new client intakes.
● Ensure that all original client file and paperwork is returned to the Parent Agency and filed within 1 business day of assessment or start of service
● Manage client and family relations and care conferences.
● Coach, manage and recognize caregivers on an ongoing basis.
● Send a weekly summary report to the owner.
● Attend and report KPI’s and HCP results at MBR (monthly business review).
● Other duties as assigned by Owner

● Maintain relationships with assigned referral sources
Measurements
KPI’s as outline by Executive Director and President. Reported at the MBR
Daily
1. Communicate any urgent issues or support needed on morning call 2. Follow up on anything needed from night before client related
3. Respond to all emails
4. Send Daily Summary biz dev and client service activity
5. Follow up on leads (APFM) and perform assessments as directed by Owner 6. Enter all new prospects and business development activity into hubspot
Weekly
1. Send Weekly Summary on Fridays
2. Ensure compliance of paper files and electronic documentation 3. Client supervisory visits
4. Manage follow up with leads and referral sources
Monthly
1. MBR – report on KPI’s
2. Complete month training modules assigned through Care Academy
Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Marlton, NJ 08053
