Business Development Manager

About the Role:

This isn't just a sales role — it's a market-building opportunity. You will identify untapped service gaps in Dubai's evolving business landscape, develop new revenue streams, and position Professional Services Group as the go-to partner for businesses entering or expanding in the UAE.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify niche and emerging service opportunities across Dubai's business ecosystem — from free zones and mainland setups to new-economy sectors (tech startups, e-commerce, fintech, sustainability ventures)
  • Develop and launch new business verticals in accounting outsourcing, consulting, and business setup
  • Generate high-quality leads and build a robust pipeline of potential clients
  • Conduct strategic client meetings, presentations, and tailored needs assessments
  • Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers, investors, and entrepreneurs
  • Develop and grow a strong referral and partnership network (PROs, lawyers, banks, consultants)
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design service solutions that match market demand
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes in the UAE

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a client-facing managerial role
  • Proven track record in the UAE/Dubai market is highly preferred
  • Deep understanding of Dubai's business setup landscape — free zones, mainland, offshore
  • Ability to spot niche opportunities and convert them into scalable service offerings
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (English essential; Arabic is a strong plus)
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Female candidate preferred

Niche Opportunity Hunting — Added explicitly: identifying gaps in Dubai's market across free zones, mainland, and new-economy sectors like fintech, e-commerce, tech startups, and sustainability — all booming in Dubai right now.

New Business Development — Reframed the role as a market-builder, not just a salesperson. The candidate is expected to launch new verticals and create scalable service lines, not just fill an existing pipeline.

  • Reference to the D33 Agenda (Dubai's plan to double the economy by 2033) — signals market awareness
  • Mention of the referral ecosystem (PROs, lawyers, banks) which is how BD actually works on the ground in Dubai
  • UAE regulatory awareness added as a soft requirement

Why This Role?

Dubai is home to 40+ free zones, 200+ nationalities, and a government actively pushing economic diversification under Vision 2030 & D33 Agenda. For the right BDM, this market offers virtually unlimited growth — if you know where to look.
