Business Development Manager

Overview:


The Business Development Manager supports ADC’s growth agenda by identifying new business opportunities, strengthening strategic relationships, and supporting market expansion initiatives. Reporting to the Director, this role focuses on executing approved business development strategies, managing selected client and partner relationships, and contributing to revenue growth across ADC’s connectivity and digital solutions portfolio.

The role combines commercial analysis, opportunity development, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional coordination to drive measurable business outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

•Support the execution of ADC’s business development strategy in alignment with commercial objectives.

•Identify and assess new business opportunities across target markets and industry verticals.

•Develop business cases, commercial proposals, and partnership models under the guidance of the Director.

•Maintain and manage a qualified opportunity pipeline to support revenue targets.

•Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth areas and emerging trends.

•Support evaluation of strategic partnerships and collaboration opportunities.

•Provide data-driven insights to refine go-to-market approaches and commercial positioning.

•Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned clients and partners.

•Support negotiations and commercial discussions within delegated authority.

•Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely responses to client and partner requirements.

•Work closely with Sales, Product, Strategy, and Finance teams to align opportunity development efforts.

•Ensure smooth transition of secured opportunities to Sales or Delivery teams.

•Support preparation of executive materials and reports for leadership reviews.

•Track business development KPIs including pipeline growth, opportunity conversion, and revenue contribution.

•Prepare periodic progress reports and performance updates for the Director.

•Monitor market developments and competitor activities, providing structured insights.

•Represent ADC in selected industry events, meetings, and networking forums.

•Support initiatives that enhance ADC’s market visibility and brand positioning.

Qualifications:


Education:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field


Experience:

•4+ years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or commercial strategy.

•Experience in telecom, connectivity, or technology sectors preferred.

•Demonstrated experience supporting revenue generation initiatives and managing stakeholder relationships.

•Exposure to commercial modeling and proposal development is an advantage.
