Business Development Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to support the growth of our Cairo office and wider Egypt operations. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and securing design consultancy projects across buildings and infrastructure sectors.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across public and private sector clients in Egypt.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, government entities, and key stakeholders.
  • Support preparation of technical and commercial proposals with internal teams.
  • Track market trends, upcoming projects, and client strategies.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and networking activities.
  • Manage and maintain a strong opportunity pipeline.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align BD efforts with technical capabilities.
  • Support contract negotiations and commercial discussions.
  • Contribute to strategic growth planning in Egypt.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in business development within engineering consultancy, construction, or real estate sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of the Egypt market and key stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in securing projects and building client relationships.
  • Experience in proposal preparation and tender processes.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.

  • Experience with international engineering consultancy firms.
  • Established network within Egypt’s construction and development sector.
  • Strong commercial and strategic mindset.
  • Self-driven with ability to lead growth initiatives independently.
