We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and economic conditions to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Identify and develop new commercial opportunities within relevant industries and markets.
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients to expand revenue from designated market segments.
- Negotiate and close deals to consistently achieve sales targets.
- Work closely with the events and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Pitch exhibition space, sponsorship packages, and customized solutions to potential clients.
- Address and resolve any issues that arise during the sales process, including feedback and complaints from clients.
- Maximize revenue opportunities through effective sales techniques and leveraging all available resources.
- Lead and support the sales team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to achieve sales goals.
- Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 4-5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in exhibitions, events, or media.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Closing deals and driving a real revenue impact.
- Owning your pipeline, CRM, and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of international trade, export/import markets, and key industry sectors (Africa, China, GCC) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deadlines, and travel regionally/internationally as needed.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships
- Excellent communication, sales, relationship-building, and customer service skills
- Address and resolve any issues that arise during the sales process, including feedback and complaints from clients.
- Fluency in English & Arabic is mandatory; additional languages such as Chinese, or French are a plus.
