Business Development Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships while researching and identifying new market opportunities and customer needs.
  • CRM Management: Efficiently manage data for new and prospective clients within a CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Online Bidding and Direct Marketing: Lead efforts in online bidding and secure business through various online portals and direct marketing strategies.
  • Freelancing Platforms Management: Maintain a high-profile presence on freelancing platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, Freelancer.com, PeoplePerHour, LinkedIn, and other relevant social media channels.
  • Sales Funnel Management: Move opportunities through the sales funnel by cultivating relationships with prospects, initiating communications, and providing timely follow-ups.
  • Sales and Marketing Practices: Develop, implement, and analyze sales and marketing methodologies, tools, and tactics. Prepare sales contracts in compliance with legal guidelines.
  • Financial Management: Keep detailed records of sales and revenues, prepare invoices, and ensure timely payment recovery.
  • Proposal Presentation: Present business proposals to clients effectively through video calls.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct research to provide insights on competitors and market trends, contributing to product development and pricing strategies.

Requirements

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of HubSpot, Salesforce, and performance marketing.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in IT and technology.
  • Tech Stack Understanding: Ability to understand and pitch the latest software technologies to clients.
  • Business Development Skills: Experience with bidding portals, email marketing, client communication, and proposal writing. A natural flair for business development.
  • Proactivity and Independence: Ability to work with minimal supervision, be proactive, and manage uncertainty effectively.
  • Additional Knowledge: Familiarity with AWS and Azure data platforms, digital marketing, graphic design, and content writing is a plus.
