Reports to: End‑User Sales Lead / Business Head – Distribution

Compensation: AED 8,000–10,000 monthly (fixed) + performance incentives

Target Segments: Automotive garages – OEM workshops, B+, B‑/C

Priority Focus: B+ category workshops first, followed by B‑/C

Role Overview

You will oversee the end-to-end growth of SATA hand tools and related tool categories in UAE automotive garages. This is a technical sales role that blends hands‑on demos, relationship building with service managers/garage managers/purchase managers/owners, and rigorous pipeline management (enquiries → quotations → negotiations → review → conversion). The goal is to increase SATA category penetration per account and deliver sustainable revenue and margin.

Key Responsibilities

Hunting & Coverage

Map the territory for OEM, B+, and B-/C garages; build and maintain an account universe with clear A/B/C Prioritisation.

Plan a weekly BEAT (route plan) with minimum daily productive calls/visits; log all activities in CRM.

Demand Generation & Demos

Identify use‑cases and pain points; run tool demonstrations (e.g., torque tools, storage, lifting, measuring, striking/screwdrivers) to show SATA advantages.

Organize pit‑stop demos, toolbox trials, and counter days with partners.

Solution Selling

Build multi‑SKU proposals per garage (good/better/best); attach value (warranty, durability, TCO) and cross‑sell complementary SKUs.

Handle technical objections; prepare comparison sheets against competing brands.

Pipeline & Conversions

Manage the whole funnel: enquiries → quotes → negotiation → PO → delivery; track ageing; escalate roadblocks early.

Own pricing within guardrails; negotiate to close while protecting margin.

Account Management

Onboard new garages to programs (e.g., loyalty/credit apps), drive repeat and category depth; collect POs on time.

Coordinate post‑sale: delivery follow‑ups, warranty/service coordination, and feedback collection.

Data & CRM Hygiene

Maintain accurate records of leads, demos, quotes, wins/losses, and reasons in CRM; submit weekly funnel & BEAT reports.

Cross‑Functional Coordination

Collaborate with supply/ops to ensure stock availability and with marketing to develop WhatsApp/email campaigns, demo kits, and counter activations.

Compliance & Safety

Follow company HSSE, demonstrate safety practices, and adhere to brand guidelines at all times.

Required Profile (Must‑Have)

Experience: 4-6 years in technical/industrial sales (hand tools, power tools, garage/auto service equipment, or industrial equipment).

Background: Sales Engineer profile strongly preferred; diploma/degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Electrical or equivalent exposure.

Demonstration Skills: Able to plan and run hands‑on demos that translate features into workshop‑level benefits.

Stakeholder Management: Comfort engaging service managers, garage managers, purchase managers, and owners.

Territory Know‑how: Familiar with the UAE garage ecosystem; existing relationships a plus.

Driving License: Valid UAE driving license.

Systems: Working knowledge of CRM (e.g., Zoho/Salesforce), MS Excel/Sheets; disciplined with reporting.

Language: Fluent English; Hindi/Urdu/Arabic is a plus.

Nice‑to‑Have

Prior experience selling Stanley Force, King Tony, Makita, Bosch, Wurth, or equivalent brands.

Product depth across auto equipment, automotive tools, abrasives, lubricants, etc.

Exposure to workshop credit/collections, tenders, and framework agreements.
