Business Development Manager – Student Business

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to expand our educational consultant network. The role involves engaging with overseas education consultants, guiding students through fee and living expense remittance processes, and ensuring smooth pre-sales, sales, and post-sales support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expand the network of educational consultants and onboard them as partners.
  • Conduct webinars with consultants to educate students/parents on the remittance process, forex rates, and documentation.
  • Guide each student through the complete remittance process, including mandatory document collection.
  • Follow up with students for semester-wise tuition and living expense payments.
  • Maximize revenue per transaction while ensuring smooth service.
  • Cross-sell additional services such as education loans, visa facilitation, and insurance.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achieve annual revenue and transaction value targets.
  • Increase the base of education consultants (UG & PG).
  • Maintain high conversion rates (leads vs actuals).
  • Ensure student/parent handholding during the remittance journey.
  • Organize periodic webinars with onboarded consultants.

Qualities & Attributes

  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience (excluding EdTech roles like Byju’s).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with education consultants.
  • Proficiency in market research, lead generation, and sales funnel management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per year
