Job Description
The Business Development Manager will support the execution of ADFH’s commercial strategy by conducting leasing activity, developing value-added trade and logistics solutions, and attracting regional and international buyers to the hub. The role is critical in positioning ADFH as the region’s leading B2B food marketplace, with a focus on enabling high-volume trade, integrated services, and customer stickiness.
Core Responsibilities:

Support the Commercial - Business Development function in executing the leasing plan for various facilities within the Hub, meeting occupancy and revenue targets.

Engage with prospective tenants to understand their business needs and tailor

commercial proposals accordingly.

Prepare pitch decks, proposals, leasing documents, and supporting materials in coordination with legal and finance.

Maintain and actively manage lead pipelines, CRM tracking, and internal deal progress

reports.

Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to inform sector targeting, pricing strategies, and commercial decision-making.

Coordinate with internal teams (legal, finance, marketing, operations) to ensure alignment in deal structuring and delivery.

Mentor and guide support teams members or analysts in research, CRM updates, pipeline tracking, and documentation preparation as required.

Develop integrated solutions with internal stakeholders to enhance the Food Hub’s value proposition for tenants and traders.

Identify, develop, and support the establishment of support ecosystem partnerships (logistics, financial services, technology providers) that drive tenant growth and strengthen the Hub’s competitive positioning.

Contribute to the Food Hub’s positioning by providing inputs for marketing content, digital platforms, and ecosystem narratives to attract and retain quality tenants.

Support the development of sectoral strategies to target high-potential customer segments aligned with Abu Dhabi’s food security and trade objectives.
Knowledge & Skills

Educational and Technical Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Food Supply Chain, or related field (Master’s is an advantage).

Language Skills: Fluent in English and Arabic; French is an advantage.

Years of Experience: 8+ years’ experience in food sourcing and distribution, food logistics and related fields.
