Business Development Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:
  • Identify potential clients across various sectors such as manufacturing, retail and services. Use strategic outreach methods—calls, emails, social media, and networking—to initiate contact and introduce relevant software solutions.
  • Consultative Sales Approach:

Engage in in-depth discussions with clients to understand their operational challenges and business goals. Recommend the right software—be it a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Flour Mill Management System, Progressive Trading Solution, Inventory Management, Billing Solutions, or other custom tools.

  • Market Analysis:

Monitor market trends and competitors to position the company's products effectively. Provide insights to the product team about customer demands and industry-specific requirements.Prepare compelling proposals and product demos tailored to the client’s needs. Negotiate pricing, features, and contracts to close deals efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction.Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients for repeat business, upselling, and referrals. Provide support during on boarding and liaise with the technical team to ensure smooth implementation.Work closely with developers, project managers, and product designers to ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated and translated into the software solution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of software solutions and how they solve business problems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze client requirements and match them with the right technical solutions.
  • Experience in B2B sales, preferably in the IT/software domain.
