The Business Development Officer plays a key role in identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities for Lootah BCGas across residential, commercial, and industrial gas system projects. The role focuses on expanding the company’s client base, strengthening partnerships, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Development & Research
- Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities in the LPG, SNG, and Natural Gas sectors.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to recommend strategic actions.
- Evaluate potential projects, consultants, contractors, and developers for future collaboration.
2. Business Generation & Client Relations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, consultants, and government entities.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and networking events to promote Lootah BCGas’s services and capabilities.
- Support tendering and proposal preparation in coordination with the Estimation and Projects teams.
- Follow up on submitted proposals and quotations to convert leads into confirmed projects.
3. Strategic Planning & Coordination
- Assist in developing business strategies, revenue forecasts, and annual sales plans.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Engineering, Projects, Finance, and Procurement) to ensure smooth project handover and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to marketing and branding efforts, including the preparation of promotional materials and participation in exhibitions.
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain an updated database of leads, opportunities, and ongoing negotiations.
- Prepare regular progress reports and business performance updates for management review.
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the gas, MEP, or energy sector.
- Proven track record in client acquisition, proposal management, and project coordination.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong market awareness and analytical thinking.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
