Business Development Officer (BDO) – Government & IT Projects

Vizz Web Solutions is hiring an experienced and result-driven Business Development Officer (BDO) for our software house. We are looking for a professional who has strong experience in the Pakistani local market and government sector, with proven expertise in securing IT projects through tenders, bidding, and professional networking.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong market connections, and a deep understanding of the IT industry and software services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and secure IT projects from government and local market sectors
• Handle complete tendering and bidding processes including EPADS, PPRA, and related procurement platforms
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with government departments, corporate clients, and decision-makers
• Generate new business opportunities for software development, web development, mobile applications, and other IT services
• Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, and business documentation
• Coordinate with internal technical teams to understand client requirements and project scope
• Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in business development within the IT industry / software house
• Proven track record of winning government or local market IT projects
• Strong understanding of tendering, procurement procedures, and bidding processes
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client dealing skills
• Strong professional network and links within government and corporate sectors will be highly preferred
• Good understanding of software services, web technologies, and IT solutions
• Knowledge of freelance bidding platforms such as Upwork and Fiverr will be considered a strong plus point
