Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Officer (BDO) with 1.5–2 years of experience in solar sales. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, meeting potential clients, and closing sales for solar energy systems. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial solar markets.
  • Generate leads through field visits, networking, cold calling, referrals, and digital channels.
  • Conduct client meetings, site visits, and presentations to explain solar solutions.
  • Prepare and present solar proposals, quotations to customers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Coordinate with technical and engineering teams for system design and project feasibility.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Maintain sales pipeline and CRM updates.
  • Keep updated with solar industry trends, government policies, and net metering regulations.
  • Provide post-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1.5–2 years of sales experience, in solar energy, renewable energy, or technical sales.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to generate leads and convert prospects into customers.
  • Basic understanding of solar systems, net metering, and energy savings calculations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in solar EPC sales.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial solar projects.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Target-driven and self-motivated personality.

Pay: From Rs75,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
