Role Description
- The Business Development Officer is responsible for leading the sales and business development efforts related to heavy machinery equipment, specifically focusing on forklifts. The role involves generating new business, managing client accounts, and expanding market presence in the foundation and infrastructure sectors.
Industry: Infrastructure / Construction
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to grow the sales and rental operations of pile machines.
- Identify potential clients in the construction, infrastructure, and foundation sectors across the UAE and GCC region.
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, consultants, and contractors.
- Conduct site visits and technical consultations to understand client requirements and propose suitable equipment solutions.
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery, mobilization, and servicing of machinery.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and provide regular market intelligence reports.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs set by the management.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business development or sales in heavy equipment, preferably with a focus on piling machinery.
- UAE driving license is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing deals.
- Technical understanding of heavy machinery.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-driven, result-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure.
- Incentives: Performance-based bonus paid monthly or quarterly depending on achievement of targets
