Business Development Officer/Executive

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Officer/Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and leading initiatives that support the company's long-term strategy.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to expand our market presence and deliver high-value solutions to clients.

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in local and international markets.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Lead the preparation of proposals, bids, and presentations for strategic projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with company objectives.
  • Support in contract negotiations and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to provide strategic insights.
  • Represent the company at client meetings, conferences, and networking events.
  • Prepare periodic reports on business development activities, pipelines, and forecasts.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or client management (preferably within engineering, consultancy, or construction sectors).
  • Strong track record of developing strategies that deliver measurable growth.
  • In-depth knowledge of business development processes, proposal preparation, and client engagement.
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required.
  • Additional language proficiency will be considered an asset.
Knowledge and Functional Competencies:
  • Expertise in client relationship management and strategic partnerships.
  • Strong presentation and proposal development skills.
  • Ability to identify client needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
