BD Operations Analyst
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Business Development Operations Analyst to support our government contracting (GovCon) growth initiatives. This role bridges business development, capture management, and operational strategy, ensuring our pipeline is well-managed, data-driven, and aligned with corporate goals. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of federal procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Pipeline Management: Maintain and optimize the BD pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, GovWin, HubSpot), ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.

Market Intelligence: Conduct research on federal agencies, upcoming opportunities, competitors, and industry trends to support strategic planning.

Proposal Support: Collaborate with capture and proposal teams to track RFPs, RFIs, and sources sought; assist in developing proposal schedules and compliance matrices.

Reporting & Analytics: Generate regular reports and dashboards to track BD performance metrics, win rates, and opportunity status.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in BD operations, including automation, data hygiene, and workflow optimization.

Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with capture managers, proposal teams, contracts, and executive leadership to ensure alignment and transparency.

Tool Administration: Serve as a point of contact for BD tools and platforms, managing user access, training, and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.

3+ years of experience in GovCon business development, capture, or BD operations.

Familiarity with federal procurement platforms (e.g., SAM.gov, GSA eBuy, FPDS, GovWin).

Proficiency in CRM systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Experience supporting proposal development and capture planning is a plus.
