Job Title: Business Development Rep (Referral Relations)

Location: Delray Beach, FL (Local Travel in Palm Beach County)
Setting: Sober Living (PHP/IOP + Sober Living)
Compensation: Base Salary ($60,000-$80,000 based on experience) + Benefits

Position Overview

We are seeking a mission-driven Business Development Rep to drive patient referrals and build strong, ethical relationships within the behavioral health ecosystem.

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining referral partnerships with detox centers, residential treatment programs, therapists, hospitals, interventionists, and other community stakeholders. The ideal candidate understands the addiction treatment continuum and is passionate about helping individuals access high-quality care.

This is a relationship-focused role , emphasizing long-term partnerships, integrity, and consistent census growth.

About the Program

Pro Sober Living provides a full continuum of care, including Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP), and structured sober living environments .

Programs like these combine clinical treatment with recovery housing , offering patients therapy, relapse prevention, and accountability while living in a supportive environment—an approach shown to improve long-term recovery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Referral Development & Outreach

  • Build and maintain referral relationships with:
    • Detox and residential treatment centers
    • Hospitals and behavioral health providers
    • Therapists, psychiatrists, and private practices
    • Interventionists and case managers
    • Alumni networks and community organizations
  • Conduct regular in-person visits, presentations, and networking meetings
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and recovery community functions

Account Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for referral partners
  • Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with key accounts
  • Provide program updates, availability, and outcomes data
  • Ensure a high-touch, concierge-level experience for referral sources

Admissions Collaboration

  • Work closely with the admissions team to:
    • Facilitate smooth patient transitions into care
    • Align on ideal client profiles and bed availability
    • Support conversion from inquiry to admission

Strategic Growth

  • Identify new markets and referral opportunities
  • Develop territory plans and outreach strategies
  • Track referral trends and adjust outreach efforts accordingly

CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and referral pipelines
  • Track KPIs including calls, meetings, tours, and admissions generated
  • Provide regular reports to leadership on business development performance

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in:
    • Behavioral healthcare business development, OR
    • Admissions, outreach, or case management in substance use treatment
  • Strong understanding of levels of care (Detox, Residential, PHP, IOP, Sober Living)
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally (Palm Beach County only)
  • Existing book of business/referral relationships in South Florida
  • Experience working in PHP/IOP or sober living environments
  • Knowledge of ethical referral practices and compliance standards
