Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the community (pediatricians, parent organizations, and other community partners), The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outside sales, account management, and marketing, with a passion for engaging with diverse audiences and enhancing community partnerships. This person combines warmth and professionalism with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for helping families access quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Community Partnerships: Build and nurture relationships with referral sources, including pediatricians, schools, ABA centers, and community organizations.
  • Outreach & Engagement: Develop and execute community outreach strategies — attending local events, health fairs, and educational programs to promote Bliss’s services.
  • Referral Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to generate new referrals and strengthen existing referral pipelines.
  • Brand Representation: Serve as a public face of Bliss Speech and Hearing Services within the community, ensuring consistent messaging and high standards of professionalism.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the clinical and operations teams to ensure smooth referral handoffs and an exceptional experience for families and partners.
  • Market Insights: Gather feedback from partners and track outreach results to inform strategy and continuous improvement.
  • Promotional Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted materials, campaigns, and community education initiatives.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, referral performance, and territory management.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in community outreach, healthcare marketing, outside sales, or account management — preferably in pediatric and/or healthcare settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders (parents, providers, educators, and administrators).
  • Organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple outreach activities and follow-ups.
  • Empathy-driven and mission-aligned — passionate about helping families connect to quality speech and hearing services.
