Business Development Representative

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and target potential customers through research, outreach, and networking.

  • Initiate outbound communications (calls, emails, LinkedIn messages, etc.) to generate new leads and develop interest in our solutions.

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads by understanding their needs and evaluating fit with our offerings.

  • Schedule and coordinate discovery calls or meetings between qualified prospects and the sales team.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities, leads, and opportunities in the CRM.

  • Track and report on performance metrics and contribute to team goal achievement.

  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and messaging.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong research, organizational, and time-management abilities.

  • Self-starter with a positive, results-oriented attitude.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Experience with CRM and sales prospecting tools is a plus.

  • Previous experience in sales, business development, or a related field preferred.

The Process

Interviewing is hard. We aim to keep the interview process relatively succinct (1-3 weeks end-to-end), topical to what you’d be working on at Dosu, and—as much as possible—enjoyable.

1. Intro Call (20 minutes / Google Meet)

A casual 30 minute video call to

  • Learn more about you, your background, and what you are looking for

  • Learn more about Dosu, where we are, where we are going

  • Align on how you might fit into the team

2. Deep Dive Strategy Call (30 minutes / Google Meet)

A deep-dive into a previous projects that you’ve worked on, the scope of your role, what worked, what didn’t, etc.

3. Online Case Study (1 hour / Google Meet or In-Person)

You’ll be given a case study to present to the Dosu team.

4. Onsite Superday (2 hours / In-Person)

You’ll be given a series of problems to work through and present your solutions with our leadership team in-person.
