Northrop Grumman's Corporate Global Business Development Office (CGBDO) is seeking a Business Development Analyst to support the enterprise’s international growth objectives.

Located at the Corporate headquarters in Falls Church, VA, this position will be part of an interdisciplinary team responsible for business development operations in support of Northrop Grumman’s global business portfolio. This position can be hired as a Level 3 or Level 4, based on the incumbent's years of relevant experience and education.

The analyst will be responsible for supporting wide-ranging global enterprise business development initiatives. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


Pipeline Analysis

  • Lead international pipeline data management through the Salesforce tool

  • Develop executive level presentations on awards performance and pipeline metrics

  • Develop dashboards to provide insights into pipeline

Operations

  • Support the international consultant and consultant sales representative compliance process

  • Manage enterprise level consultant agreements and invoices

  • Plan and coordinate site visits for executives and international teams

  • Support the development, tracking, reporting, and forecasting of business development operational goals and activities

Customer Engagement

  • Support executive preparation for meetings, travel, and tradeshows

  • Support the executives in major meetings and events, reviewing the agenda and the pre- and post-interactions to ensure successful outcomes

  • Anticipate and manage the materials, data and presentation needs for upcoming meetings and events

  • Partner with Communications and Sector stakeholders to ensure the executives are prepared for all speaking engagements and customer meetings (both internal and external)

We are looking for self-starters that help bring out the best of the larger team. Core skills include critical/strategic thinking, organization, and attention to detail. In addition, the candidate must have a result driven attitude and a proven capability of working in a collaborative environment across distributed and diverse locations and organizations.

Basic Qualifications for Level 3:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, or Master’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience

Basic Qualifications for Level 4:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience, Master’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience

Additional Required Skills for both levels:

  • Experience in business development, strategy, project management, or related field

  • Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills

  • Proven ability to produce high quality work for executive audiences, including presentations and concise summaries

  • Ability to work requisite hours to support executive deadline in fast-paced environment

  • Proven ability to operate independently, dynamically manage priorities, and thrive in a multi-disciplinary, highly collaborative team environment

  • Demonstrated proficiency in data manipulation and analytics

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Salesforce

  • Proficiency with SharePoint

  • Experience in international business

Primary Level Salary Range: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
