JOB OVERVIEW
The Lead Development Representative (LDR) sparks customer engagement, expedites quotes, discovers new sales opportunities, and resolves customer inquiries.
This hybrid role drives sales development and delivers direct customer support. The ideal candidate organizes, prioritizes customers, masters technology, and adapts fluidly between outbound and inbound tasks.
Document accurately, follow through, and uphold system discipline.
You’ll work closely with our Customer Service and Inside Sales teams to:
- Follow up on outstanding quotes
- Re-engage existing and dormant customers
- Identify upsell, replacement, and expansion opportunities
- Introduce our solutions to new organizations in a consultative way
- Support inbound customer calls and assist with product-related questions
YOUR ROLE
Quote Follow-Up (KeyResponsibility)
- Proactively follow up on open and aging quotes
- Confirm customer status, answer questions, and clarify next steps
- Identify when a quote should convert to an opportunity or be closed out
- Ensure all quote activity and outcomes are accurately logged in the CRM
Customer & Lead Engagement
- Contact existing customers to assess needs and uncover opportunities
- Reactivate dormant customers who haven’t purchased in 12–18 months
- Research and engage organizations that match our ideal customer profile
- Utilize phone and email outreach in a thoughtful, non-aggressive manner
Customer Support & Product Assistance
- Field inbound customer calls when needed
- Assist customers with product-related questions and guidance
- Provide clear, professional support and direct inquiries appropriately
- Document all customer interactions in HubSpot and internal systems
- Partner with Customer Service to ensure a consistent customer experience
This position requires the ability to confidently transition between proactive outreach and responsive customer support.
CRM & Process Discipline
- Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date records in HubSpot
- Log all activities, notes, tasks, and follow-ups
- Update lifecycle stages and opportunity details correctly
- Follow defined sales and customer engagement processes
- Ensure documentation is thorough and reliable
Operate confidently in multiple systems daily and exhibit strong attention to detail.
YOUR TOOLS
- HubSpot (CRM, quotes, lifecycle stages, activity tracking)
- Apollo.io (lead research, enrichment, outbound outreach)
- NetSuite (ERP, order management)
- Phone, email, and internal collaboration tools
Training will be provided, but strong technical aptitude is expected.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Base salary: $45,000–$60,000 per year (based on experience)
- Performance incentive opportunity (target earnings: $55,000–$72,000 annually)
