About the Role

We are hiring a senior level Accounting Manger to grow our business. You will help drive revenue by identifying potential SMB customers, executing outbound prospecting campaigns, engaging with potential clients, supporting client conversations, and closing accounting engagement with clients. The role is a hands-on sales execution position with direct exposure building an early-stage startup.

This position is suited for someone ambitious, analytical, organized, and comfortable taking initiative in a fast-moving environment. We are looking for a candidate with 5-10 years of B2B sales or business development experience in software or professional services. The ideal candidate has a hunter mentality with a consultative disposition.

What You’ll Do

Revenue & Growth Execution

· Identify and research target customers across priority industries

· Build prospect lists aligned with our ideal customer profile

· Execute outbound outreach via email, events, phone, and LinkedIn

· Reach out to any inbound prospects

· Qualify leads and schedule meetings with senior leadership

· Track outreach activity and conversion metrics

· Attend various in-person events, conferences, and networking sessions to prospect and represent our firm.

Sales & Support

· Prepare documents for sales presentations and meetings

· Draft and execute outreach sequences and follow-up communications

· Follow up with prospects to close sales

· Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline tracking

· Prepare proposals, presentations, and conduct client onboarding

Market Intelligence

· Research and understand competitors, market trends, and expansion opportunities

· Analyze customer feedback and surface insights

· Identify potential partnerships and new revenue channels

What We’re Looking For

Required

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Communications, or related field

· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

· High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

· Comfort with outreach and initiating conversations

· Self-starter mentality with strong follow-through

Preferred

· MBA or understanding of/experience with financial statements, accounting principles, and finance

· Experience working with startup founders, entrepreneurs, or small business owners and executives

· Familiarity with tech platforms, AI, and automation tools to optimize workflow (e.g., LinkedIn, Canva, OpenAI, Claude)

· Strong Excel and Microsoft 365 skills (e.g., Word, PowerPoint)

Compensation

· Position starts with a 90-Day probation period as a 1099 Independent Contractor that includes a base earnings and commissions, then transition to W-2 full-time employee position.

· Base earnings and performance-based commissions tied to revenue metrics with no cap on earnings

· Medical & 401K benefits

· OTE Range $148K-$438K/year

Pay: $148,000.00 - $348,000.00 per year
