We are looking for a talented and highly organized Business Development Manager (BDM) responsible for forging effective relationships with brands, media-, creative-, digital-, and PR agencies in the United Arab Emirates (UAE - Dubai). Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, building a high-performance and strategic business development, and handling the offering of the Walee platform to the highest levels of clients in the FMCG, entertainment, Government and many other verticals across UAE and GCC If you feel ready to join a rising growth company with a proven business model and track records, we would love to invite you to work with Walee.
We are looking for a BDM who has:
● Understanding of market targets and budgets, media industry, and new business development
● Strong network in the advertising and media industry and direct clients in UAE and GCC
● Ability to hit the road running and show an early impact on the business
● A database of customers/prospects that can immediately be engaged to hit the ground running in UAE and GCC
● Develop a network of contacts to attract new clients and oversee growth projects
● Proven strategies and experience to attract clients successfully and the ability to negotiate to close business deals swiftly
● Ability to nourish fruitful relationships, and to set up meetings with decision-makers within a limited timeframe
● Generate sales projections and forecast revenue, in line with projected income
● Passion for coming up with creative pitches and seeing through to fruition
● Solid experience with digital culture, and knowledge of trends and innovation in the digital ecosystem (Social Media/Media/Advertising/Digital)
● Skilled in managing a sales pipeline and sales CRM
● Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting
● Passion for the creator/influencer Marketing and the creator economy/market
● 5-7 min years of experience in media sales/media agency with account management/client servicing flair (ideal but not necessary), business development/growth and brand partnerships with solid experience across social media platforms, content marketing
● Fluency in English and Arabic is a big plus
Your responsibilities:
● Client partner with ability to lead and win client business
● Achieve and exceed the monthly and quarterly financial targets
● Developing a sales pipeline which converts to revenue and budgets
● Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and positioning
● Supporting the MENA team on campaign pitches and campaign execution
● Arranging as many meetings as possible with key decision-makers in UAE and GCC
● Implementing strategies for winning new clients
● Maintaining relationships with newly established clients
● Assist with all projects administrative duties including contract set-up and maintenance, time approval, and issue accurate client reports and campaign payments (monthly, quarterly, annual) with a high degree of accuracy
● Cross functional engagement with Influencer team, product and marketing to drive growth
● Keeping up-to-date with social media trends
● Being a thought leader and strategist to your clients
● Monitor status and manage project to ensure on-time completion
● Shaping together with your team the biggest influencer marketing platform in the MENA and Asia
