Business Development Specialist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Executive with strong hands-on experience in freelancing platforms like Upwork and Fiverr. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating business opportunities, acquiring international clients, and driving revenue growth through strategic bidding and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities on Upwork and Fiverr
  • Write customized, high-converting proposals and bids
  • Handle end-to-end client communication from lead generation to project closure
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Understand client requirements and coordinate with internal teams for project delivery
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and track leads through CRM or internal tools
  • Stay updated with platform trends, algorithms, and best practices
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in business development on freelancing platforms
  • Strong profile management and bidding experience on Upwork and Fiverr
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze client requirements and propose tailored solutions
  • Experience working with international clients (US, UK, Australia preferred)
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setup
  • Basic understanding of IT services (web, mobile, SaaS, etc.) is a plus

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and lead tracking
  • Knowledge of digital services and IT industry trends
