Business Development Specialist

The Opportunity:

We have an immediate opening for a regular full-time Business Development (BD) Specialist to work a hybrid remote schedule based out of any of our offices in Arizona, Colorado, or Utah.

We are experts in environmental planning, cultural resource management, community planning, and landscape architecture design services. Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support business development activities aligned with the firm’s strategic plan, including market research, opportunity tracking, and pursuit planning.
  • Help maintain and grow client relationships through regular communication, meeting coordination, and follow-up.
  • Track business development activities and outcomes in CRM or pursuit-tracking systems.
  • Contributes to and maintains firmwide branding strategies, and internal and external communications.
  • Contributes to maintaining effective working relationships with clients, teaming partners, and vendors, and develops new relationships to uncover untapped opportunities.
  • Provides proposal support to the Marketing Team.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5-7 years of related experience in BD, proposal development, or related experience, preferably in the consulting and/or Architectural/Engineering/Construction (AEC) industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field; or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and adjust to daily changes in priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel to conferences and client meetings as needed.
  • Good interpersonal skills, and a desire to work both independently and in a team environment.

  • Compensation – This is a full-time position paid on a salaried basis between $60,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and education.
