Job Title: Business Development Specialist

Job Summary:
The Business Development Specialist is responsible for supporting organizational growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and contributing to strategic, commercial, and financial analysis.
The role focuses on a balanced combination of business development, financial evaluation, and strategic support, ensuring informed decision-making, sustainable growth, and effective execution across multiple sectors.
Education Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (Mandatory)
Experience Required:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in:
- Business Development
- Financial Analysis / Strategy
- Experience in B2B and/or B2G environments is preferred
- Exposure to multi-sector environments (Logistics, Construction, Hospitality, etc.) is an advantage
Skill Required:
- Technical Skills: Strong capability in financial analysis and feasibility studies, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling, experience in proposal writing and business presentations, knowledge of market research and data analysis techniques, understanding of commercial and pricing strategies
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical and problem solving mindset, high attention to detail and accuracy, effective communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and time management skills, ability to work independently and within cross functional teams
Duties & Responsibilities A. Business Development & Growth
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across B2B and B2G sectors.
- Support lead generation, qualification, and follow-up with prospective clients.
- Assist in developing and executing client acquisition and retention strategies.
- Participate in client meetings, networking events, and business presentations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and strategic partners.
B. Proposals & Commercial Support
- Prepare high-quality proposals, presentations, and commercial offers.
- Support tender documentation, particularly for government (B2G) submissions.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather technical and commercial inputs.
- Ensure timely submission and compliance with client requirements.
C. Market Research & Strategy Support
- Conduct detailed market research, including industry trends, competitor analysis, and client needs.
- Support strategic planning through data collection and analysis.
- Monitor business performance and prepare periodic analytical reports.
- Provide actionable insights to support management decision making.
D. Financial & Feasibility Support
- Assist in preparing feasibility studies and financial models for new projects and investments.
- Support budgeting, cost analysis, and revenue forecasting.
- Track business performance against financial targets and KPIs.
- Collaborate with the finance team on pricing strategies and cost structures.
E. Operations & Coordination
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments, vendors, and clients.
- Support workflow efficiency and cross functional collaboration.
- Maintain organized documentation and reporting systems.
- Support inspections, certifications, and operational launches.
