Business Development Specialist / Lighting Industry – Dubai, UAE

Role Summary

The Business Development Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding the company’s market presence. This role requires a proactive, results-driven professional with solid experience in the lighting industry, capable of combining commercial acumen with creativity to contribute to high-end projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the lighting and design sector.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present tailored proposals and solutions that meet client needs.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, design, and technical) to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct market research to monitor trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Support the preparation of business development plans, forecasts, and progress reports.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking activities.
  • Collect and communicate client feedback to internal teams to improve service delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the lighting industry (mandatory).
  • Strong network within the architecture, design, and construction sectors is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM tools is an advantage.
