Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive Business Development Specialist to support and grow our sales activities in the oil and gas / petrochemical sector. In this role, you will manage relationships with existing customers, actively acquire new clients, and help us expand our international network of partners.

The ideal candidate has some hands on experience in B2B sales within oil & gas or petrochemicals, is motivated by building long term business relationships, and feels comfortable working in a dynamic, international trading environment.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Client Management
  • Manage and develop relationships with existing customers in the oil & gas / petrochemical sector.
  • Handle day-to-day sales activities: responding to inquiries, preparing offers, following up with clients, and closing deals.
  • Identify upselling and cross selling opportunities within the existing client base.
New Business Development
  • Proactively identify and approach potential customers and partners in assigned markets.
  • Support the expansion of our customer portfolio by building a solid pipeline of new leads and business opportunities.
  • Represent the company in contacts with external stakeholders, helping to strengthen our brand and market presence.
Market & Product Support
  • Stay up to date with market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the petrochemical and oil & gas segment.
  • Cooperate with senior traders and management in shaping sales strategies and pricing approaches.
  • Support in managing a portfolio of petrochemical products, depending on your experience.
Internal Collaboration & Reporting
  • Work closely with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of contracts.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM and reporting tools.
  • Prepare regular updates on your markets, clients, and sales performance.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
  • Understanding of the oil & gas / petrochemical market.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills.
  • Commercial mindset with focus on results and long term partnerships.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is an advantage.
  • Languages: Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus.
