Description
We are looking for a talented Business Development Specialist to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will:
- Identify High-Potential Opportunities: Spot new business opportunities by analyzing market data, trends, and customer insights to focus on the most promising segments.
- Bridge Strategy and Execution: Collaborate with Marketing and Sales leadership to translate strategic goals into actionable initiatives that drive growth.
- Enhance Market Intelligence: Conduct research and attend industry events to deepen understanding of customer needs, competitors, and emerging trends.
- Support Targeted Prospecting: Identify and research local business opportunities and target accounts for customer engagement and sales.
- Develop Strategic Account Plans: Support creation of tailored plans to align offerings with prospects' needs.
- Drive Proposal Development: Assist in crafting compelling proposals to showcase Cummins' value and differentiation.
- Facilitate Sales Handoffs: Ensure seamless transition to Account Managers after securing new accounts.
- Mentor Team Members: Share insights and support less experienced colleagues to strengthen the team.
Additional responsibilities include operational excellence, stakeholder engagement, market analysis, and pipeline management, with an emphasis on accuracy and strategic insight.
Qualifications
- Based in UAE (no relocation required).
- Fluent in French & English.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Power Generation.
- Degree in engineering, marketing, sales, or related field, or equivalent experience.
