Business Head- Operations

The Client

Our client is a leading services and operations provider in a highly regulated, safety-driven industry, with strong roots in the Middle East. They are seeking a seasoned Business Head to lead operations in Jeddah and drive excellence across business performance, compliance, and customer engagement. (Aviation sector experience will be considered an advantage.)

The Role

As the Business Head, you will be at the center of operations, responsible for setting strategic direction, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of performance and accountability. This role is critical in driving growth, operational efficiency, and stakeholder partnerships while ensuring service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to safety, regulatory, and service standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, growth, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team, building a high-performance and safety-first culture.
• Build strong partnerships with clients, government authorities, and key stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to adapt business strategy.
• Ensure compliance with local and international standards, including industry-specific regulations.
• Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement and robust performance management.
• Prepare and present performance and business reports to senior leadership.
• Lead crisis management and business continuity initiatives.
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with local tax regimes.

The Ideal Candidate

• 10–15 years of experience in a similar role, with at least 5 years at a senior leadership level.
• Proven track record in operations management within a complex, regulated, and high-performance industry.
• Deep understanding of compliance, safety, and regulatory requirements; aviation experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, challenging environments.
• Saudi nationals (locals) are highly preferred in line with government initiatives.
