Business Head /Sourcing Head

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Sourcing Head (Metal) to lead the sourcing of a Metal Plant

Must be strong

The role involves full business ownership into operations, and sales, with accountability for profitability and growth. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of chemical processing, Metal Sales along with proven experience in managing large-scale process plants.

Key Responsibilities:

Business & P&L Ownership

• Lead the overall business for Metal Sourcing (Copper, Zinc, Lithium, Cobalt, Nickel).
  
• Drive profitability through cost optimization, process efficiency, and capacity utilization.
  
• Formulate and execute business strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  
• Manage annual operating budgets, financial performance, and commercial outcomes.
  

Sales & Business Development

• Develop business opportunities for extracted metal products and value-added chemical intermediates.
  
• Formulate commercial strategies, including pricing, customer engagement, and contract management.
  
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and strategic partners to strengthen market positioning.
  
  

Key Requirements:

• B.E. / B.Tech. in Engineering; M.Tech. or MBA preferred.

• 15+ Years of exp in Metal Sourcing ( Global Sourcing)
  
• Proven track record of managing end-to-end operations, P&L, and business performance.
  
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and team management skills.
