Job Purpose

To lead, build, and scale the Supply Chain Finance business at Godrej Finance Ltd by defining strategic direction, driving anchor and ecosystem partnerships, and ensuring profitable growth with robust governance. The role is accountable for P&L ownership, product innovation, digital enablement, and portfolio quality, while fostering cross-functional collaboration and positioning Godrej Finance as a leading player in the SCF space.

Role

Strategic Leadership

• Define the business strategy and roadmap for Supply Chain Finance in alignment with organizational goals.
• Drive business expansion by identifying new anchor corporates and ecosystems.
• Own P&L for the SCF vertical and ensure consistent growth in revenues, assets under management (AUM), and profitability.

Business Development & Partnerships

• Build and nurture relationships with large corporates, anchors, vendors, dealers, and channel partners.
• Drive partnership opportunities with fintech.
• Develop innovative financing structures tailored to supply chain needs.

Product & Process Excellence

• Design and implement scalable SCF products (vendor financing, dealer/distributor financing, payables, receivables financing).
• Enhance digital capabilities for seamless customer experience and faster disbursements.
• Monitor market trends and competition to ensure differentiated offerings.

Risk & Compliance Management

• Establish robust credit underwriting standards in collaboration with risk and compliance teams.
• Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Continuously monitor portfolio quality and mitigate risks proactively.

Team Leadership

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing SCF business team.
• Drive a performance-oriented culture with focus on innovation, agility, and accountability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Credit, Technology, Operations, Collections, Legal).

Qualification & experience

• MBA/PGDM in Finance, Business, or related field.
• 15–20 years of experience in Banking/NBFC/Fintech, with at least 5–7 years in leadership roles in Supply Chain Finance.
• Proven track record of scaling SCF business and managing large corporate relationships.
• Strong understanding of credit, risk, and compliance frameworks.
• Exposure to digital SCF platforms and co-lending partnerships preferred.
