Role Overview
We are looking for a
Business Insight Analyst
to support growth initiatives within a fast‑paced
FMCG environment
. This role focuses on analyzing consumer, shopper, and commercial performance to identify opportunities that support volume, revenue, and market share growth.
Working closely with marketing, sales/commercial, and finance teams, the role provides hands‑on exposure to
category performance, market trends, consumer insights, and business planning
.
This position is ideal for candidates with FMCG exposure who are looking to build a strong foundation in
commercial strategy, analytics, and insights
.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Business Analysis

Support identification of growth opportunities across
categories, brands, channels, and customers

Assist with performance analysis covering
sales, distribution, pricing, promotions, and mix
-
Conduct ad‑hoc business deep dives to support commercial and marketing decisions

Support preparation of materials for
business reviews, commercial meetings, and planning sessions
FMCG Analytics & Insights
-
Analyze multiple data sources including
sell‑in, sell‑out, market share, and consumer data
-
Support dashboards, scorecards, and recurring performance reports
-
Translate data into clear insights related to
consumer behavior, shopper trends, and category performance
-
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports and tools
Cross‑Functional Support

Work closely with
Marketing, Sales/Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain
teams
-
Support annual and quarterly planning processes (forecasts, plans, and performance reviews)
-
Assist in combining insights from different data sources to support execution at market and customer level
Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical and numerical skills

Good understanding of
FMCG KPIs
(sales, market share, distribution, promotion effectiveness, etc.)

Ability to simplify complex data into clear, actionable insights

Strong communication and presentation skills

Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Experience & Qualifications

2–5 years of experience
in FMCG roles such as Business Analysis, Commercial Planning, Category Management, or Insights

Hands‑on experience with
data analysis, reporting, or performance tracking

Exposure to FMCG data sources (e.g., market or consumer data) is a strong advantage
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
