Business Intelligence Analyst

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our team. As a BI Analyst with at least 4 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in analyzing complex data sets, generating actionable insights, and providing data-driven recommendations to drive business growth and efficiency. Your expertise in data analysis, reporting, and visualization will contribute to strategic decision-making and help stakeholders understand key business metrics.

Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: Collect, interpret, and analyze large volumes of data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and correlations. Apply statistical techniques and advanced analytics to extract meaningful insights.
• Reporting and Dashboards: Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools. Present information in a clear, concise, and visually appealing manner to stakeholders at different levels.
• Data Modeling and ETL: Collaborate with data engineers to design and optimize data models that support reporting and analytics needs. Assist in the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from various systems into the data warehouse.
• Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics requirements. Translate business needs into technical specifications and recommend appropriate data solutions.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop tracking mechanisms to evaluate business performance. Identify opportunities for improvement and provide recommendations to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Data Quality and Governance: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by implementing data quality controls and performing regular data audits. Contribute to data governance initiatives and adhere to data privacy and security policies.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams across the organization, including finance, marketing, operations, and IT, to gather insights and support decision-making processes. Act as a subject matter expert on data analytics and provide training and guidance to stakeholders as needed.
• Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in BI and data analytics. Explore new tools, techniques, and methodologies to improve data analysis capabilities and drive innovation within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Business Analytics.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a BI Analyst.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with at least one BI tool such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or similar tools.
• Advanced knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and familiarity with statistical tools such as R or Python.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs110,000.00 - Rs160,000.00 per month
