Purpose of Job
The job holder is responsible for enhancing reporting governance and the usability of the Datawarehouse as well as developing and maintaining a portfolio of BI products including reports, insights, and visualization using BI tools to support all ZATCA business units in developing complex queries, reports and dashboards to achieve ZATCA strategy and objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning

Contribute to the development of Data & Analytics business plan ensuring alignment with ZATCA strategy

Develop the operational plan for Business Intelligence in line with Data & Analytics business plan and Strategy & Development strategic plan

Implement plans and provide input to enable achievement of Business Intelligence goals that support ZATCA’s overall strategic plans
Budget Management

Discuss Business Intelligence budgeting requirements with top management and provide input to the budgeting process

Ensure effective utilization of Business Intelligence budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered

Investigate and propose implementing initiatives that result in positive financial impact for Business Intelligence and mitigates financial and operational risks
Business Intelligence Development

Research and follow-up on latest BI best practices, methods, tools, and trends and present recommendations to relevant ZATCA’s stakeholders

Coordinate with IT & Digitization function to request and collect needed inputs from the data warehouse

Establish intuitive reporting methodologies, perform ad-hoc market analysis as required to support strategy and analyze performance

Develop and maintain portfolio of BI products, including reports, insights, and visualization using BI tools

Oversee the development of complex queries, reports and dashboards to support all business functions

Oversee the production, update, and timely dissemination of data and actionable information to all ZATCA stakeholders through the most effective channel (including BI self-service)

Monitor the quality of BI products and recommend corrective actions to be taken to all stakeholders
People Management

Participate in the identification and recruitment of key talent

Guide, mentor and support direct reports in order to execute duties according to set policies and processes

Develop individual performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate/appraise team and provide regular feedback on performance

Communication and Contacs
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent is required
-
Master’s/PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or equivalent is preferred
Experience
An optimal of 8 years of relevant experience, with a preferred 3 years of experience in managerial level
