Business Manager – ICT Distribution
is responsible for overseeing and driving the complete spectrum of business operations, sales performance, vendor partnerships, and profitability for assigned accounts. This role requires deep expertise in the
networking market

Huawei, Cisco, Aruba
, or have managed such brands within the channel.

Accountability & Responsibilities of Role:
Business Strategy & P&L Ownership

Define and execute the ICT distribution business strategy in alignment with overall company objectives.

Own the P&L, ensuring sustained growth, profitability, and cost control.

Analyze market trends, pricing structures, and business forecasts to inform strategic decisions.

Identify new growth areas and expansion opportunities in both B2B and B2C distribution channels.
Vendor & Product Management

Manage relationships with ICT vendors, OEMs, and partners to ensure strong collaboration, favorable commercial terms, and access to competitive product portfolios.

Oversee the negotiation of contracts, rebates, and marketing development funds (MDFs).

Plan and execute product launches, inventory mix, and lifecycle management in coordination with marketing and supply chain teams.
Channel Development & Sales Enablement

Build and scale a robust network of resellers, dealers, retailers, and system integrators.

Set sales targets for channel partners and monitor performance against KPIs.
-
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Distribution teams to develop go-to-market (GTM) plans.

Support pricing strategy, channel incentives, and promotional campaigns to drive sell-through.
Operations & Supply Chain Alignment

Ensure seamless coordination with logistics and warehouse teams for stock availability, timely deliveries, and accurate order fulfillment.

Monitor and optimize inventory turnover and reduce stock aging risk.

Implement best practices in stock forecasting, demand planning, and order processing.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Lead a cross-functional team (sales, product, operations) to execute the ICT distribution strategy.

Provide direction, coaching, and performance management to the team.

Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and IT to ensure transparency and control in all business processes.

Present business performance updates and forecasts to senior leadership regularly.
Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or Masters Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field is required.

Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience in ICT distribution Preferred, Product management, or Channel development is essential, especially in Networking Products(Huawei, Cisco, Aruba Etc.)

Proven experience managing vendor relationships and large commercial portfolios (hardware, software, or telco solutions).

Prior experience working with Tier-1 ICT brands and regional channel networks.

Strong knowledge of local/regional ICT market trends, pricing structures, and competitive dynamics.
