Business Operations Intern(Sales & Deployment)
Location: Remote (with local field visits as required)
Internship Duration: 6 Months
Schedule: Part-Time (Minimum 20 hours per week)
Overview
We are seeking a Business Operations Intern (Sales & Deployment) to support commercial coordination and pilot deployment execution. This role bridges sales enablement and operational implementation, ensuring that customer pilots move from conversation to deployment without friction.
You will gain hands-on exposure to B2B sales coordination, field execution, and structured operational tracking in a technology startup environment. This is a practical, execution-heavy role requiring strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
A. Sales Operations Support
- Assist with structured customer outreach via calls, emails, and messaging platforms
- Conduct follow-ups with prospective and existing customers
- Schedule sales meetings, product demonstrations, and site visits
- Maintain accurate lead and customer interaction records using Excel trackers
- Capture customer requirements and feedback, and communicate them internally
B. Deployment & Operations Coordination
- Coordinate with suppliers for procurement planning and follow-ups
- Track device orders, delivery timelines, and installation readiness
- Support pilot deployment planning and execution activities
- Participate in on-site customer visits during pilot deployments and follow-ups (where required)
- Track pilot progress, issues, resolution status, and action items
C. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Excel-based tracking systems for sales and operations
- Ensure all communications, commitments, and follow-up actions are documented and traceable
- Prepare basic execution summaries and progress updates for internal review
Required Qualifications
- Final-year Bachelor’s / Master’s students, or recent graduates (preferably Business Administration, Management, Operations, Marketing, or related fields)
- Basic working proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel locally for customer site visits when required
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused
- Ability to commit 20 hours per week for 6 months
