The Role

As a Business Performance Analyst, you will partner closely with client stakeholders, reporting experts, and operational teams to ensure data accuracy, robust performance governance, and smooth end-to-end reporting processes. This role plays a critical part in translating complex information into clear, actionable insights that support informed decision-making and strong compliance across the business.

Key Accountabilities

What you’ll be doing

  • Act as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders, building strong relationships by asking the right questions and proactively identifying business needs and opportunities.
  • Translate complex data, trends, and financial information into simplified, non-technical insights that enable clear understanding and effective decision-making.
  • Support performance monitoring and governance by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of management information and reporting.
  • Deliver financial analysis including reconciliations, budgeting support, and basic FP&A activities to help track performance against plans and forecasts.
  • Partner with Internal reporting teams to identify variances, risks, and improvement opportunities, escalating insights where appropriate.
  • Extract, manipulate, and analyze large data sets from multiple sources to develop dashboards, models, and performance metrics.
  • Apply critical thinking to interpret data trends and provide recommendations that drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure reporting processes and outputs meet governance, compliance, and control standards.

Skills & Requirements

You’ll need to demonstrate:

Must haves

  • Experience in a business management, operations, analytics, or finance-related role within financial services or a similarly complex environment.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Ability to work confidently with data, interpret trends, and ensure accuracy in performance metrics.
  • Capable of conducting foundational analysis and supporting the preparation of performance insights.
  • Familiarity with reporting processes, data quality checks, and collaborating with reporting teams.
  • Able to track adherence to operational processes and escalate issues appropriately.
    Understanding how performance, invoicing, and cost control activities impact financial outcomes.
  • Able to translate data or processes into clear, understandable outputs.
  • Experience supporting performance monitoring, service delivery, or operational governance functions.
  • Experience in environments where data accuracy, compliance, or reporting is essential.

For this role, the initial expected remuneration is $71,000 to $110,000 plus applicable benefits. Please note that the posted compensation range is indicative only, as the final package for this position with this client may be intentionally positioned above market to attract and retain top talent
